This term, we will be looking at the Vikings in more depth and identifying reasons why they invaded Britain. In Science, we will be learning about Living Things and their Habitats, including learning about extinction and the Earth. In RE, we will continue to study the other faith - Hindu Dharma. Year 4 pupils will also be focused on preparing for the Multiplication Times Tables Check this term, please continue to practice by using the mock testing system on the main class page. Mrs Treleaven has also organised for a comic book artist (who has worked with Holy Trinity before) to come in and deliver a workshop to the pupils for their experience this term. Please ensure you are continuing to read daily, completing the Red Book homework, logging on to TT Rockstars, and MyMaths.

Spellings

Year 4 will work on a spelling pattern for two weeks. At the end of the unit, the children will be tested on words that contain the pattern.

Weeks 1 and 2

Spelling Pattern Words: Words ending in -ous. Examples include: mountainous, serious, courageous, humorous, and so on.
