COVID-19 - Update

As we have now returned to school, we have had to make some adjustments to our current timings. We appreciate our families that are working with us to ensure the safety of all by reducing the number of people gathering at one time.

Without COVID-19 adjustments our school day would look like this:

Our school gates open at 8.30am, pupils are welcome to arrive anytime from 8.30am-9am. If pupils have not arrived by 9am, they will be classed as late.

From 8.30am-8.50am pupils have the opportunity to 'Walk the Mile' around the school grounds. Some light exercise to start their day in the right way!

At 8.50am, pupils are collected from the playground by their class teacher and taken to class to complete feedback that they have received to improve their work and develop their learning.

We have collective worship every day from 9.10 until 9.35am. On a Monday, every class follows worship with their weekly RE lesson. On Tuesdays-Fridays, pupils from Year 1-Year 6 complete a skills hour made up of Times Tables, GPS (grammar, punctuation and spelling) and Guided Reading.

One afternoon a week, teachers will have Planning and Preparation time, during which, pupils will receive their weekly outdoor PE lesson.

Year 1, 2 and 3 have their break time at 10.30-10.45am.

Year 4, 5 and 6 have their break time at 10.45-11.00am.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 finish school at 3.10pm.
