Year 4's Comic Book Workshop
Year 4 had the opportunity to work alongside the incredible comic book artist James Parsons on Friday 12th July 2024. This workshop was held over Zoom, and after a few internet glitches, ran smoothly with all children engaged. James commented on how amazing the children were and their art work shows just what a fabulous session it was! Year 5 Artist Workshop
Both Year 5 classes were extremely lucky to be able to work alongside local artist, Mona Whitton. Due to term one's topic "The Victorians", their art project was linked closely to this through the concept of printmaking. This is because the technique was popular during the Victorian era and was used by William Morris, the founder of the Arts and Crafts Movement.
