EAL stands for English as an Additional Language. At Holy Trinity CE Primary, we pride ourselves on celebrating our diversity, as an educational community, whether it be where we are from or the languages we speak. We have many talented bilingual students and parents who provide many opportunities to open our eyes on the world, its cultures, similarities or differences. We celebrate our different languages.
We want all children to be able to access the curriculum and have the opportunity to be the best that they can be. With our EAL interventions the children are prepared to enter the classroom with more confidence and armed with essential words they will need.
Every child matters at our school and their language, culture and faith are celebrated. We are so lucky to have such a diverse community.
