Term 1 - Joseph Thiongo
Jospeh Thiongo, born in 1967 in Kenya, has enjoyed painting and drawing since he was a child. He uses the landscapes and animal life he sees to inspire his artwork. Using a semi-abstract style, he paints the backgrounds with bright, vivid colours using watercolour paints and the foreground of his art with normal, realistic colours.
Children at Holy Trinity today (15.10.2021), have learned about Joseph and explored his technique in order to create their own piece of art linking to their topics using his style.
