Term 5 - Lubaina Himid
Lubaina Himid is a British artist known for her vibrant paintings, drawings, prints, and installations that often explore themes of history, identity, and social justice. She was born in Zanzibar in 1954 and became involved in the UK's Black Arts Movement in the 1980s. Her artwork brings attention to untold stories and perspectives, particularly those of marginalized communities.
