Year 4 James Parsons Face-to-Face Workshop 2026
Year 4 had the opportunity to work alongside the incredible comic book artist James Parsons on Monday 6th July 2026. This workshop was fantastic, and all the children were thoroughly engaged and excited by the experience. James taught the children how to use simple shapes and guidelines to help them to draw more complex characters. James actually emailed in the day after his workshop to say, " I was seriously impressed with all the year 4s, not only (as always) were the children totally welcoming, lovely, and super-focused - but they were also full of creativity and ideas, despite the melty weather. Thank you! I was finding it all a bit hot myself (a running theme this summer) and the kids made my day a lot easier! They can all have a golden star award for brilliance!"

Year 4's Comic Book Workshop
Year 4 had the opportunity to work alongside the incredible comic book artist James Parsons on Friday 12th July 2024. This workshop was held over Zoom, and after a few internet glitches, ran smoothly with all children engaged. James commented on how amazing the children were and their art work shows just what a fabulous session it was!
