Happy New Year!

Welcome back, we hope you have had a wonderful Christmas break and are fully rested after all the hard work you completed in Term 2 and The Nativity Show you performed. 

This term we will be learning all about famous explorers, their journeys and the world we live in. We will be looking in depth at Amelia Earhart and why she is important in hsitory. Year 2 will be looking into Captain James Cook, Christopher Columbus, Marco Polo, Sir Francis Drake, Sir Walter Raleigh and Ellen MaCarthur. We will be writing a narrative based on the book Pirate of Scurvy Sands as well as newspaper articles, fact fils and many more writing opportunities.

P.E Days

Our P.E days for Rabbit Class and Hedgehog Class are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 

Please make sure to bring in your warm P.E kits so you can take part in the fun P.E lessons we have planned.

Spellings

Spellings will be set every week.

Pupils will bring home spellings on a Friday to practice at home and will have a pre-test on Monday and then be tested on Friday.
