• School will endeavour to remain open as long as the safety of pupils and staff is maintained
• If school cannot remain open an email / text message will be sent to all families.
• Parents they can go online to see if school is closed www.kentclosures.co.uk
• The Kent Closures website will also display closures for a number of services including libraries, nurseries and Children’s Centres.
• Parents they can hear about school closures by listening to KMFM, BBC Radio Kent and Heart FM.
• Parents can also visit www.kent.gov.uk/winter for more information about salting routes, KCC, services affected, travel issues etc.
• We suggest that parents sign up for the SMS or email alerts on www.kentclosures.co.uk
• Please be aware there maybe a charge for SMS alerts (not for emails).
• School will endeavour to update parents through parentmail and by updating the website.
