Year 4 - Robin and Badgers

Welcome to Year 4!

Welcome to our class page! Here you can find what we are learning about and find any key updates.

Miss Ross is the Class Teacher of Robin Class and Mrs Bennett and Mr McDermott are the Class Teachers of Badger Class. Our Teaching Assistants are Mrs Imeri and Miss Gold.

If there is ever anything you would to know anything about your child's learning or if you have any questions, please feel free to come and see us after school or fill out the form below. This year we will not be providing Contact Books unless you request us to do so.

Pupils: In order to take Accelerated Reader quizzes log-on here, to practice your handwriting through LetterJoin click here or to complete any Mathletics homework click here (Mathletics tasks are set every Wednesday, these tasks are normally pre-learning for upcoming topics). You can find spellings and weekly pre-learning under the homework tab on the home page.

Please note our PE lessons are on a Wednesday and a Thursday - outdoor Wednesday and indoor Thursday. Please ensure your child has a complete kit so that they can fully partake in these lessons safely.

Below are some key documents relating to our class.

Below is a generic weekly timetable so you are able to see what your child can expect on each day. Please be aware that naturally, things may change here and there.

Below you can find the objectives that your child will be assessed against for Maths, Reading and Writing. Why not get ahead and do some pre-learning?!

Below you can find the Spelling words for this term. Please note, your child will be told which spellings to learn. If this is unclear for you, please do come and let us know so that we can clarify.

Pre-Learning Shout out!

We feel passionately about pupils completing pre-learning as their homework, because it gives them a head start and an insight into what they will be learning the following week.

If they come to class prepared with some pre-knowledge we can take their learning even deeper.
