Maths - Work your way through the workbook thoughout the week. If you would like to challenge yourself have a go at the word challenges too.

Topic - What words would you use to describe a volcano? Can you write a list of adjectives and similies to describe what a volcano sounds and looks like. 

 

For example - The volcano roared as loud as an angry lion. 

                  

Once you have a list of words and phrases can you make up some rhyming sentences?

 

For example - The magnificent volcano had a smokey ash cloud,

                     The lava was flowing and the volcano was loud. 

 

How many rhyming sentences can you create?
