Term 5: Dinosaur Planet

Dinosaur Planet

 

This term our learning project is 'Dinosaur Planet'. We shall be learning about all thing’s dinosaurs; from categorising the different types of dinosaurs that lived millions of years ago to learning about what wiped them out to how we know so much about them not from amazing palaeontologists like Mary Anning.

 

We will using this learning project as a stimulus for our writing whilst also reading dinosaur themed books such as How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?, Dinosaur Farm, Dinosaur ROAR! and Tyrannosaurus Drip.

 

To kick start our learning project we will be visited by a palaeontologist who will teach us about dinosaurs and what it takes to be an expert fossil hunter!
