Our GPS lessons will be slightly different from this week. We will be having a spelling lesson once a week on a Monday and a spelling test on a Friday. This will form 2 of the 5 GPS lessons for the week.

For times tables this week Puffin Class are competing against Hedgehog class using tt rockstars. We have set up the competition from today till Sunday and next Monday we will let you know which class has the most points.

Maths - Recapping partitioning

Have your pencil and paper ready.

Task 1 - Children use the Triple Up! Cards to match two-digit numbers to their partitioned representations in both digits and dienes.

Task 2 - On worksheet, children partition given two and three digit numbers. You do not need to print it, you can write it out.

Task 3 - On worksheet, children partition and recombine given two and three digit numbers. If you do not have a printer, you can copy it onto a sheet of paper.

PSHE - Each of you are so special and amazing! Finishing the sentence starters in the balloons will help you realise how many special qualities and talents you have, and that are valued by others. We look forward to seeing what you put down. If you do not have a printer you can just write the sentences out and draw a picture of yourself.

Todays Topic lesson is focusing on the points of a compass and following instructions. Please watch the Power Point presentation and then complete the task attached. There are 3 levels of difficulty for the task. Please all start on sheet 1 and if you complete this confidently you can try sheet 2.

Why not challenge yourself to follow a tutorial on You Tube to sketch a picture of a beach. Miss Ross will explain in her video what you will need. This video will show you how to draw a beach scene and you can practise using you pencil to make areas light and dark and add shading. Send your completed pictures in so we can see how well you have done.
