How do we describe a hero?

Today, we will be focusing on heroes. What are they? How do they get given this title and what common attributes do they have? Myths often centre on a hero, or heroes, and their actions drive the story forwards. In order to create characters with depth, we need to be able to describe them well. Today, you will be writing a character description of a hero. We will be using adjectives, expanded noun phrases and compound adjectives whilst giving examples of where they display these attributes. This will be an extended piece of writing that will be of use next week when introducing your hero in your myth. We will also be adding a layer to our masks.
