Chinese New Year

Today we are celebrating the Chinese New Year. Find out all about the story of the Zodiac and try some different activities.

 

How is Chinese New Year Celebrated? (Task 1)

 

Read the powerpoint and watch the videos with an adult and talk about how Chinese New Year is celebrated.

The Chinese Zodiac (Task 2)

 

Listen to the story and then draw a picture of your favourite animal from the race.

Chinese Numbers (Task 3)

 

Learn how to count to 10 and how to write numbers in Chinese.

Make a Paper Lantern (Task 4)
