Learning Project

This week we are learning all about our teeth! I wonder what you already know about your teeth?

Feel free to jot down your current knowledge before you begin any of the Learning Project lessons perhaps in a spider diagram. It is always great to then come back to this once you have completed your learning and add to your diagram in a different colour, then you can see how much new knowledge you have gained!

Lesson 1:

We are building up to writing our very own non-chronological report all about, that's right, you guessed it...teeth!

Before we are anywhere near ready to do that, we need to build up our knowledge.

First things first, today we would like you to create your very own glossary of technical dental words that can be used as part of your toothy non-chronological report later in the week.

You can choose as many of the words on this document to help you to do this, please do a minimum of ten:

If you have a dictionary at home, this will be perfect to help you complete this task. Otherwise, google could also be a valuable tool.

Please be sure to write the definitions into your own words, remember not to write things down that you do not understand!

Please find below an example glossary so that you can see how a completed version looks:

Please send your completed glossary to: so we can see how you got on and provide feedback as necessary.

Today's lesson is a practical task, please feel free to send photos of you completing this activity.
Please log on to Mathletics to complete your assigned tasks: Mathletics United Kingdom | Empowering Maths Learning Online

Times Tables

On Times Tables Rock Stars, we have allocated your account the times table that you have been working on in school so that you can practise this.

There is also an optional competition between Badgers and Robins to see how many points you guys can earn!

Here is the link: Times Tables Rock Stars: Play (

If you need your login details again, please just drop us an email using the contact form and we will get these sent to you.

Reading Task

As well as your reading task, please remember to keep reading your book each day for a minimum of ten minutes and keep your Reading Record updated.

Please keep up with your Accelerated Reading quizzes: Welcome to Renaissance Place (

Don't worry if you finish your book, you can read anything: magazines, non-fiction information texts, recipes, instructions. Any genre counts!

Today and tomorrow we are focusing on subject/verb agreement.

You can find out more about this on the PowerPoint below.

Below are two activities for you to complete on subject/verb agreement.

Please notice, some activities that we upload will have stars in the left hand corner.

These indicate the difficulty of the activity.

The more stars, the more complex the activity.

You can choose which version to complete, but please note, you do not need to do every single version, just choose one.

Don't worry if you are unable to print, there is no need. You can simply write your answers on paper.
