15.12.17- Movie, popcorn and a snow party to end another fantastic week in Ladybird class!
15.12.17 - We didn't think our day could get any more exciting than pyjamas, movie and popcorn but we were wrong! We had a surprise visitor!!! All the children were eager to see Santa and get their little present.
13.12.17- After listening to the Polar express story we all decided that we thought it would be a good idea if we had a nice cup of hot chocolate!
12.12.17- Today we had an Andy Warhol inspired art day.

05.12.17 - The Nativity! I couldn't be more proud of what an amazing group of performers you all were! Thank you to the parents for everything you do, you are raising incredible children!
04.12.17- What an amazing start to the week! The children had such a brilliant dress rehearsal in front of the school that they got their 10th class star which meant they got to have a party! They played musical statues, musical bumps, decorated the class Christmas tree and all won a prize. Well done, I am so proud of every member of the class for simply being amazing!

29.11.17 - The children enjoyed our discussion about different careers and how every job is important. They spoke about what their future aspirations were and we can look forward to future police men and woman, optician, train driver, fossil collector, chef, cleaner and power rangers.
21.11.17 - Well with all this talk of Christmas Fair we realised there might be a special visitor at the fair! Some of the children were unsure if they could make the fair and were concerned Santa would not know what they wanted so they decided we needed a special postbox especially for letters to Santa. I apologise for any of the children who went home with red paint on them but rest assured they had lots of fun helping.
21.11.17 - Christmas Fair! The children decided they would like to make reindeer food for the christmas fair. They did very well at taking turns and following instructions. Hope to see you all there on Saturday!
17.11.17- I was extremely proud of Ladybird class for having won the most play tokens at lunch. These are awarded by dinner ladies for children who are seen being kind and playing nicely. The class who have the most play tokens at the end of the week win squash and biscuits. Ladybird class decided to share with butterfly class. Well done ladybird class, I am so proud of you!
15.11.17 - The children had fun acting out the story Peace at last, with the girls doing their best impression of mummy bear snoring and the boys trying to find somewhere peaceful to sleep.
13.11.17 - Kindness Day! We celebrated Kindness day by making friendship bracelets for our 'Big Me's' and inviting them to come and spend the afternoon playing with us.
10.11.17 - We had a picnic on the moon! There was great excitement as the receptions embarked on their mission to the moon. When they arrived the moon was very bumpy with lots of stars surrounding them. They were lucky enough to have found a picnic all set up for them!

31/10/17 - After reading the story 'How to catch a star' the children thought about and drew pictures of how they could get high enough to catch their own star.
30/10/17- The first day of term 2 started off with great fun as we went to Forest School. There was nest building, finding of treasure and swinging in Hammocks 😀
