On Wednesday 17th January we were lucky enough to be invited to NWKC for a Change 4 Life Conference. Jon Rye, Schools Games Organiser for Dartford, asked the school to attend this workshop, with 8 children and 2 members of staff.
The conference provided champions with an understanding of the Change 4 Life ethos. The children were given ideas to support Change 4 Life and key health and well-being across our school. We aim to develop 30 active minutes each day for pupils.
The children took part in workshops led by Nathan Timothy Foundation, Animate Arts and North Kent College Sports Leaders. They also had a fabulous opportunity to meet and talk with Shona McCallin MBE, Rio 2016 Olympic gold medallist hockey player.
Please have a look at our Healthy Schools page for more information.
It was a great day and the children represented Holy Trinity brilliantly with enthusiasm and pride.
